Program Objectives for DAE Mechanical

Duration: 3 years

The main objectives of Diploma in Mechanical Technology (DAE Mechanical) is to produce Associate Engineers with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in engineering. Students will be able to:

  • Apply foundation in mathematics, science and design methodology applied to the disciplines of mechanical engineering in the areas of mechanical, fluid, thermal and manufacturing systems.
  • Design and conduct experiments, analyse and interpret data, and effectively use modern technology in communication, research and problem solving.
  • Develop team work, leadership and communication skills to effectively solve engineering problems.
  • Lead to successful career in government or private sector industry and/or pursue advance degree.
  • Contribute to society, growth of economy and country.
